About Bents Basin
Sydney Camping Adventures offers camping at Bents Basin State Conservation Area. It is a great location as the campgrounds are large, grassy and bordered by trees. A short walk from camp, are the breathtaking views of Bents Basin. The Basin itself is the main draw card giving you the opportunity to go swimming, kayaking or fishing. Also on offer are the land based activities such as bushwalking, bird watching or simply just relaxing in the beautiful surroundings with only the sound of nature.
Bents Basin State Conservation Area is located just one hour drive west of Sydney CBD and Sydney Airport and is only accessible via car. Public transport does not offer transport options to and from Bents Basin. All roads leading to Bents Basin are sealed and therefore accessible with a 2WD car. Travelling by car along the Northern Road will bring you to Bringelly where you will turn onto Greendale Road, left onto Wolstenholme Avenue, follow this road all the way to Bents Basin State Conservation Area.
